DIVERTING FACTS

Replacing the 3.3 billion petroplastic bin liners and 1.3 million stainless steel bins consumed in the UK annually with OneBin could help us divert finite resources to higher uses.
Replacing the 3.3 billion petroplastic bin liners and 1.3 million stainless steel bins consumed in the UK annually with OneBin could help us divert finite resources to higher uses.
Our ultimate ambition is that all stainless steel bins and petroplastic liners are replaced by OneBin and Compost-a-box.
Our ambition for OneBin is to enable the diversion of finite natural resources to higher uses. Our short term diversion objectives are shown below which do not include estimates of the resources consumed or pollutants arising from extraction, processing (except smelting coke) or disposal of the resources necessary to produce stainless steel bins and petroplastic liners.
Our ambition for Compost-a-box is to divert food waste to home produced compost thereby avoiding travel miles in disposal and associated CO2.
